VEX Online Challenges and Engineering Notebook

Vex EDR Teams keep Engineering notebooks, which are updated on a regular basis on what is done during each team meeting. We update our notebook regularly, explaining all important decisions take by our team as a whole and what we plan to do on our next session. The notebook follows the design process which helps us keep track of everything; we start off by creating a design statement and following the process to create a robot. We also outline our progress so far on each entry and a progress report on the status of online changes to be completed and how far is the robot has been built. We also use the notebook to make sure we are on track to competing our tasks to the set deadlines. In this way we are very organised, and we can plan what to do on the coming sessions. This notebook is updated by mainly Ansh Jaiswal and other members of the team.

Online challenges are also a key part of VEX EDR and help us to broaden our creativity skills and imagination. Online challenges require us to complete a task to good standard to win prizes. For example, we must create a website, showcasing our team members and talents. We are about to post the link to our website on the Internet as we have nearly finished building it. (This is the website for the online challenge). It is all about how our team came together and cooperated with each other to create the best atmosphere of trust and friendliness within our team. This helped us to do our tasks to the best of our ability. There are also other challenges like programming and making a video to show our team members and their personalities, Likes and dislikes and how we work as a team. All of this helps us to create a stronger bond between the members of our team as we have to work together more to complete these challenges. Prizes for winning these challenges include automatic qualifications to worlds, a $500 check to spend on the VEX EDR store, or a branded product (only applies if the in brand has sponsored the competition.) These online challenges are currently being handled by Swattik Das and other members of the team. This Website is a part of our entries into the Online Challenges. We will be entering 3 online challenges:- the VRC Promote award, the VEX Website challenge sponsored by DELL and the VRC Photography Challenge.
